In 2011 the MU Women's Club Soccer Team WON the NIRSA National Championship in Phoenix, Arizona. They defeated Northern Arizona, Villanova, James Madison University, Illinois State, and finally California-Berekeley to win it all! In 2010 the team took 3rd at Nationals, getting knocked out in PKs to Illinois State, who went on to win the tournament. In 2009 the team won the Region IV Soccer Tournament at Kansas State University and qualified as a top 24 team for the NIRSA National Tournament where they placed 17th in the Championship bracket.

The Women’s Club Soccer team provides a chance for women at Mizzou interested in playing competitive soccer to play games each semester both in Columbia and at surrounding colleges and universities and represent the Mizzou Club Sports program. The team is a member of the Kansas-Missouri Soccer League and participates in the NIRSA National Championship.
